Drs. Timothy and Annamarie Milburn are veteran optometrists, each with over 20 years of experience. They are both therapeutic optometrists and optometric glaucoma specialists. Drs. Tim and Anna provide complete eye care including eye emergencies, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, routine eye exams as well as advanced contact lens fitting. Both doctors treat children as young as six months and are skilled at diagnosing and treating keratoconus, dry eye, allergies, infections, and injuries to the eye.
Our doctors work with the top surgeons in the area to assist our patients in need of LASIK or cataract surgery. Drs. Tim and Anna were both trained at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Milburn Eye Center in Frisco, Texas is a state-of-the art facility designed from the ground up just for eye care.
Dr. Timothy Milburn, O.D.
Dr. Tim has extensive experience with difficult contact lens fits including, semi-scleral, keratoconic, multifocal rigid gas permeable, and bifocal soft contact lenses. Dr. Tim Milburn is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He completed an ocular disease externship at The Ohio State University Medical Center Department of Ophthalmology. He managed a satellite office and served as a consultant to the world famous Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute. Dr. Tim managed two private practices in Ohio for over fifteen years. Dr. Tim grew up in Richardson, Texas before moving to Ohio. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Dr. Annamarie Milburn
Dr. Annamarie Milburn practices comprehensive family eyecare. She enjoys all facets of optometry. Dr. Anna likes helping people see better and managing ocular disease. She has a passion for pediatric optometry and advanced contact lens designs including contact lenses for astigmatism and multifocal lenses. She is a 2001 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. During her training, she served our veterans by externing at the Columbus, Ohio Veterans Affair Clinic. Dr. Annamarie was also a consultant at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Ohio University. She and Dr. Tim have three teenage daughters. Dr. Milburn enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and being involved in her children’s extracurricular activities.
After a highly successful twenty-year career in Ohio, Dr. Tim and Dr. Anna decided to return to Dr. Tim’s roots in Texas. With fortunate timing, they sold their two Ohio practices just six weeks before the quarantine lockdown. They live in Prosper with their three daughters and are members at Prestonwood Baptist Church.
